This is probably one of my biggest Pet PEEVES! And I find myself wanting to tap you on the shoulder and go "Excuse me... I don't want to see your ass cheeks!" Trust me, no matter how THIN you are this is a ugly look on you!
So many teenager's are trying to pull this off and I see them stroll at the Malls, thinking they look HOT, meanwhile... it's a so NOT!
Ladies, Tights are stretchy, hence everything showing! It's just not a good look!
If you are going to wear tights, wear it with a short dress or a long top that hides the bits that no-one wants to be exposed to!
I don't know where this comes from and for the life of me don't understand what you can find so cool about this, but in the fashion industry and if you are your salt worth in this industry, this is the BIGGEST NO-NO!
Now... go pull on a long top or dress and let's be done with this UGLINESS!

I love these amazing little summer frocks for summer! I have to pay kudos to Camilla and Mila's shoe situation, firstly Camilla... just makes me think of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz... and I love those sparkly sparks!! Clearly florals and all things girly and pretty are the in-thing for summer, be it the Maxi-dress or the amazing knee length dress! All nude shoes are great for summer, it elongates the the legs and with a tan, it rocks! You can go for pumps, wedges or heels!

First off, I love the blue borrowed dress from her Mum for pre-wedding-dinner festivities...Just lovely.

I remember these when I was a kid! I loved Espadrilles, and what do I find, it's BACK! I got this pair at Jay-Jay's for R89! What a bargain! They also have them in floral print that will suite the season trend! These are fab with jeans, tights, shorts... well just about anything! and did I mention COMFY! very!

Nautical is in, so why not just get yourself a plain stripy T and pair it with either jeans, or like Cathering with a great pair of white pants! Bish Bash Bosh, there you have it! Accessorize with a BIG red bag for that extra pizazz!

Firstly I think we should all invest in a pair of converse trainers, as they are just the bomb, you can wear them with shorts, jeans and like this girl with a dress! This is just such a easy Saturday look to achieve, a plain baggy black dress and converse trainers, to add some pizazz, just get some funky accessories, and for the evening, just get rid of the trainers, add wedges and a nice jacket, and you are off!

Charlize just has a great way of being casual and chic! I heart her. Take note, if you want to squeeze yourself into skinnies, make sure that your top/shirt hangs either on your hip, or if you have a bit more weight, let it be longer, please, I see so many ladies thinking they can pull skinnies off, and they actually just get it alllll wrong! Make sure you hide what you need to hide and emphasize what you need to! The heels and the pashmina is great with this outfit, such a great outfit for that casual Friday supper!

So, these front pleated trousers! I got myself a pair from Woolies in cream, and it's going to be my summer staple! If only they had more colours! this is such a comfy trouser! and can be

sjhoozed up with heels, or worn down for that runaround day! If you have big hips, stay clear, as its got pleats in the front, you will just appear BIG and you don't want that! For the ladies with big hips, you want flat fronted trousers! Also don't go for cargo's it just adds weight!

So, for someone like me this is the ideal dress! I have a short upper body, and a slight bit of a hip and tummy thing going... so I have to find all kinds of means to try and hide it... and what a perfect dress! Show off your assets, your legs and boobs, and hide the hips and tummy! Perfect!

80's Fashion was the era of stone washed jeans, big hair, leg warmers and big shoulder pads, which were one of the few eccentric styles we... the 30/40 - somethings have experienced!

We idolised Madonna and her wild ways, her slick look and those risky outfits... always bedazzled with Gothic jewels!

mm... Remember the puffball skirts and leggings... alas... this is also around... again... a bit stuck in a timezone here!

I actually helped Megan the other day to "stone-wash" her jeans.. by this I mean a bath full of jik, and hoping for the best!!! It worked almost like my childhood flushed back and I was sooo excited to see the result... just as much as her!

ooh, and don't forget the fingerless gloves.. I know.. it's HOT!

Underwear, Underwear, Underwear.
So I'm a 34DD... yup, you've read that right... and I've through the years worn ALL sorts of bra's and brooks.... but have learnt to buy the correct sized underwear for my body.
There is nothing worse than seeing woman who I can spot a mile away that wear the wrong size bra. If your boobs are popping over you bra... it's too SMALL ladies...
Tip: Have yourself measured at Storm in a G cup, or alternatively at Stuttafords.
Firstly if you have a bigger boob like me... you CANNOT be wearing padded bra's... as you move your boob just pop out. At Woolies they have a classic collection, and I ONLY wear that range, as it cups my boob, and the lace fills my WHOLE breast cup, so NO popping out!
T'shirt bra's is a no go if you are a DD! as the fabric sags, and hence the saggy boob, which is not a pleasant sight... trust me!
If you are not sure... give me a buzz and I'll steer you in the right direction.
Then the panties...
Ladies, rather buy a size bigger, so that the underwear don't cut into your skin, and make that little flesh bubble we all HATE! Get the size bigger, it must fit and flatter!
..
PET HATE! Ladies who don't wear petticoat's... ladies, if you stand outside in the sun and you can see through your dress!!! Whip on the petticoat's...
Me and hubby went to see the Parletones, and if I had to count how many woman whore dresses without petticoat's.. it's insane... To wear a white dress and a black polka dot brooks... is a NO-NO! .. Yes... I'm talking to you!
I ALWAYS wear a petticoat, just in-case! you never know...
Underwear is the MOST important part of getting dressed everyday! you just have to get that right!
Woolies has got the most divine petticoat strappy type dress that is short and can be worn under ALL dresses!
Go out ... get rid of all the old ... and begin with the NEW...

I always say... money can't buy you class! So, you don't need allot of money to look casual chic! but if you have some mulo... then go for the best! From your True Religion distressed jeans, your favourite Plain V-Neck Chanel T-shirt and a sexy Tailored black jacket by Donna Karran! and don't forget the Chanel sunglasses and the big'ol Burberry bag!
Alternatively for the local market.. Distressed jeans by River Islan (let it be known I got a pair from Meltz at a staggering R99!!! a Plain grey T from Edgars - R99, and a black tailored jacket from Marion and Lindie! (R800) - Remember the black jacket is an essential for your wardrobe, so spend the money and get a good quality item, as this is something you can wear all the time!
for some bargain hunting, just give me a shout! I am fortunate to take client shopping all the time, so I know of some serious bargains out there!

Me, mom Brenda, and the one and only Sonica! I was amazed with her. Life has been difficult for her, but she manages to worry about everyone around her and puts her own needs aside... One amazing girl - well, or shall I say... amazing young lady!

It's that time of year, (which in essence should be our thoughts everyday) but I tend to turn on my radio and tune into Kfm in the mornings, or 94.7 with Jerremy in the evening to see who's wish has been granted! And what do you know... our own local teenager Sonica was the lucky girl this time.

Mom Brenda wrote into the station to ask for her daughter to have the best 18th birthday ever!

Brenda and Dad Jacques has been married for 3 years and Jacques has two kids, Sonica and JJ and they all live together with Brenda. Sonica and JJ have become almost like Brenda's own kids. She has watched Sonica go through a very difficult time, and it's not helping that Brenda and her husband are struggling to make ends meet, and it's so difficult to give the kids what they really need!

Sonica is turning 18 on Friday, and not only did Brenda's wish come true for Sonica to get her best 18th birthday, but I got to spend a day with them.

Edcon Group was so moved by her story that they arranged to throw her 18'th in style as well as give them clothing to the amount of R10 000.00!

Sonica and mom had the best time, not only did I assist in their shopping, but gave some much needed style tips along the way! They also had their make-up done for them and will be there again with the lovely ladies of Dior on Friday before her birthday bash.

I also assisted Dad Jacque and brother JJ in getting some amazing outfits for them for the evening, as well as some extra items!

So much fun we had. I left with a warm feeling in my heart knowing that we just assisted with someone's dream, and this is something she will remember all her life.

So, Sonica, forget about all the bad omens in life... concentrate only on the good... and the amazing lessons we learn in life!

Like Khloe, I have some problems with the hip and tummy department, so I'm constantly trying to find ways to hide it... seeing as I'm just not prepared to stop my eating! I love food, I love cooking, so I guess I will never be Kate Moss... I try to stay "trim" though so I watch the scale! LOL. So in this pic, I love how the T'shirt is nice and baggy enough to hide the bits you want to hide, it shows some shoulder which is very sexy, and paired with some skinny jeans and heels, you can make this work!

Firstly Neon is in... so even if you feel you can't get away with your clothing that is in Neon, try some sexy, and sassy Neon nail varnish, it's very sexy, don't forget about black, very sassy!
Destroyed jeans is big for this season, pair it with a strappy top and some sexy pumps! If you have a bit of a hip thing happening, then get yourself a nice big oversized, T-shirt that flairs out at the bottom.. (True Khloe Kardashian style!)

Firstly note that Khloe isn't Kate Moss, she's voluptuous, sexy and no matter her weight, she just always looks sexy.
